Symbols of Revolution

1. The Wiphala


Know as the traditional flag of the indeginious people of bolivia hoards of crowds came to use it as they came to rally for the support of evo morales who would become the first indeginous president of Bolivia, nowadays the Wiphala is now considered under new law to be the dual flag of bolivia.

Representing the colours of the rainbow each colour has a meaning.

  • Red: The Earth and the Andean man
  • Orange: Society and culture
  • Yellow: Energy
  • White: Time
  • Green: Natural resources
  • Blue: The heavens
  • Violet: Andean government and self-determination.





2. The Rising Sun

During the Time of World War 2 The Imperial forces of Japan stood behind this flag as their wartime flag rather than the traditional red dot flag.






3. AK-47


The AK is widely known for its low manufacturing cost and reliability. thus is the revolutionaries choice when coming to arming their forces. examples of this are the Taliban, FARC and the Mozambiques.




4. Burning Bra
The Symbol of the feminist movement in the 1960's, women would not conform to the way men wanted them to be portraid a " throwing off of the shakles" as it were.






5.The Magdalo flag

This Flag is the Modern Flag used by' bagong katipuneros' or the army officers who mutinied against the philipino government led by president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo... the symbol in the middle is the 'baybayin' (ancient language of phillipines) script for the sound 'ka'
